Join us as we harken back to an earlier era to enjoy our elegant, yet relaxed, Tea Service at the historic Peter Allen Inn. Served in our intimate Doctor’s Office, only 12 guests per seating will enjoy this ambiance of contemporary gracious gentility. Our dedicated Tea Hostess selects the finest teas, from the Secret Tea Society collection, offering a varied tea assortment for each seating—an herbal blend is always in the mix!
Delectable house-made accompaniments include savory tea sandwiches, assorted sweets and freshly baked scones served with fresh lemon curd, English Devonshire cream, jams and preserves.

SECRET TEA SOCIETY
Once per month, you may choose to join in the fun and intrigue of a Secret Tea Society Tea and Conversation Salon experience. Secret Tea Society is leading the contemporary American tea salon movement and is partnering with us, exclusively, for its Mahoning Valley gatherings. Enjoy three curated teas, a luscious treat and stimulating conversation on a wide range of facilitated Topics-of-the-Day. Led by certified Tea Specialist and founder of Secret Tea Society, Angela Strach-Gotthardt, each salon is a time to enjoy tea and conversation with interesting and interested individuals just like you!
TEA 101 TASTINGS & WORKSHOPS
Having piqued your interests, the Peter Allen Inn + Secret Tea Society will host Professional Tea Tastings and Workshops as a focused learning experience. You will take time to smell, taste, think, discuss, and yes slurp(!), while learning about the journey and culture of the tea leaf and its nuanced flavors for pure, flavored and scented teas. This special opportunity will enable you to take your tea appreciation to the next level. This Fall’s Professional Tea Tastings and Workshop include: Tea 101, Fall Harvest Blends, Drink Your Flowers and Create Your Own Tea Blend.
BOUTIQUE TEA PARTIES
You may also want to celebrate a special occasion with our already-established Boutique Tea Parties. The Peter Allen Inn will help you plan the most special few hours to celebrate a child or adult birthday, bridal shower or to welcome a new baby.
