Storyteller Photography: Images by Rebecca
A photographer, artist, author and award-winning journalist, Rebecca S. Nieminen owns Storyteller Photography: Images by Rebecca, a portrait studio in Kinsman, Ohio. In addition to her portraiture, Nieminen’s landscape photos of area rural life, which include farmyard cows and tractors, country churches, weathered barns, remote lakeshores and vibrant sunrises and sunsets, have gained recognition and praise. In January 2019 she was named Artist of the Month at Trumbull Art Gallery in Warren, Ohio, and in March 2019 one of her landscapes was selected as a winner in the Power of the Arts “Go Art!” contest, where winning artists had their work displayed on WRTA buses. Many of Nieminen’s photographs look almost like paintings and have a soft, dream-like quality with gorgeous golden light and dramatic, colorful skies. Nieminen has long been passionate about conveying stories through both the written word and through imagery, and she is currently working on a book of photographs and poetry. Prior to opening her portrait studio in 2013 she taught freshmen composition at Youngstown State University and worked as a reporter for The Vindicator, where she still freelances.

Beautiful Creations by Stacey Crain
I started making jewelry a few years ago. I enjoy making smiles on faces that purchase a piece of one-of-a-kind hand make jewelry

Chandra Passions
Hand Carved Birds by Chandra Peterson of Bloomfield, Ohio I’ve been a wood carver since 2016 when I was personally tau1 one of only very few fan carving masters in the country. This carving technique is a rare ancient Eastern European Folk Ar Each design is hand carved from a single piece of fallen White Cedar wood. The beauty in the design is that they are carve from one piece of wood. No glue or staples are ever used. Since each piece of white cedar has it’s own personality, I pay careful attention in how I carve and hand paint each of my designs determining whether it will become a dove, humming or love birds.

Tom Harwood
A respected painter of watercolors and oils who resides in Niles, Hardwood received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree majoring in Painting and Printmaking with a minor in English from Ohio University. He is well traveled and loves to paint the American scene. Great old barns, moss-coated covered bridges, deserted school buildings, churches bright with hope, sycamores towering above a fast running brook are all subjects that are viewed by his keen eye and painted with his sure hand. A former art instructor and educator. Harwood was the owner and gallery director of the El Prado Patio Azul Gallery of Sedona, Arizona and Santa Fe, New Mexico. Harwood’s paintings and limited edition prints may be found in numerous private collections from Hawaii to Maine.

L.A.M.B. Handwoven Rugs
The looms in Linda Ann Marie Bertanzetti’s weaving studio stand in quiet rows. Colorful spools and shuttles of warp are stored around the room and bright fabrics are stacked in the corner, Each loom is warped, ready to play its in role in the creation of a new rug.
Bertanzetti is the only weaver in the room, but it’s easy to imagine the clacks and bangs of all 40 looms, the way they would’ve sounded 100 years ago with a skilled weaver in every seat, Each loom in the room is different and each one has been restored to working condition, On these looms, Bertanzetti has created thousands of rugs, table runners, bath mats, full-stair runners and bench covers.

In 2005 upon retiring, he started to work on turning everyday in the winter to keep himself busy. It soon became apparent, with the house and garage shelves filling up with wood turned beautiful lamps, vases & bowls that we decided to start doing craft/art shows with his wonderful one of a kind creations. Quilling has been around for hundreds of years. Quilling is the art of rolling or coiling and shaping of small strips of
paper to create a pattern or design. Quilling dates back to Egyptians times. The 3 dimensional quilling includes, greeting cards, and art work suitable for framing.

By the Lake Jewelry
I grew up creating art with a variety of media. As I grew, my passion for outdoor beauty evolved and I was drawn toward making jewelry. By incorporating authentic beach glass in my pieces and meeting some fantastic people, I grew a business. Through the process, I developed other products including beach glass pictures and sun catchers. I love creating raw pieces that flow and connect the person to a time and memory.
